Healthier Than the Grocery Store:
No Hidden MSG, GMOs or Aspartame
Thrive Foods are high quality, foods that are healthier than the grocery store: natural grains, vegetables, non-hormone meat and poultry, dairy, yogurt, beans, and more. When you buy the actual ingredient (rather than prepared or processed foods) you have more control over the quality of your food.
Our method of freeze drying food kills the salmonella, e.coli and other viruses and bacteria while preserving 98% of the natural phytonutrients. No chemical vitamins or preservatives are added! Plus you get a bonus of foods coming chopped, diced and prepared (thus cutting cooking and prep time 50% or more). You only add water, wait 5 minutes and then drain off the water.
From an analysis of studies and objective medical literature and research, the quality of our food supply is being attacked in three separate ways:
- The use of GMO (genetically modified organisms) foods and food additives;
- The injection and use of bovine growth hormone on animals and overuse of antibiotics with meat and/or poultry; and
- The use of neurotoxins and excitotoxins as additives for flavor enhancing and calorie reduction.
Did you know that now over 80% of the food in our grocery store contains one or more GMO (genetically modified organism) ingredients? They’ve done this by modifying food crops that are commonly used as ingredients in processed foods: Corn– 88%; Soy– 94%; Canola–90%; Cottonseed (oil)-90%; Sugar beets (refined sugar)-95%; Hawaiian Papaya– 50% +; Zucchini– over 24,000 acres; and Crookneck Squash– over 24,000 acres.
This method of corporate farming, using Roundup, modifying seeds to be resistant to Roundup in which they alter the DNA through crossing species, in independents studies have been linked to a wide array of chronic, life threatening conditions: diabetes, cancer, heart disease, organ failure, etc. In mice fed strictly a GMO diet after three generations were sterile. Another reason many items in your grocery store are not healthy is the food additives put in processed food. You may not realize it but neurotoxins or excitotoxins get added to processed food. In layman’s language an excitotoxin is any substance that causes brain cells to become very excited, start firing their impulses so rapidly that they become exhausted and prematurely die.
Two common excitotoxins in our food supply are monosodium glutamate (MSG) and aspartame. Most MSG in our foods is not listed as MSG on the ingredients because the FDA only requires MSG to be specifically identified if it is 99% pure grade. Aspartame, an artificial sweetener, is also an excitotoxin. It is responsible for about 75% of the complaints regarding food to the FDA.
Besides prematurely killing certain brain cells, which attacks the hypothalamus in our brain, these food additives are highly addictive, causing you to eat more food. This means food manufacturers sell more food.
You and your family’s health would benefit tremendously by watching an interview with Dr. Russell Blaylock. Dr. Blaylock is a board certified neurosurgeon, author and a is a leading researcher on neurotoxins and excitotoxins. During this interview Dr. Blaylock explains the science as well as sharing the numerous adverse effects to our nervous and endocrine system (i.e., causes obesity, increased diabetes, heart disease, cancer, reduced fertility, increased Alzheimer’s disease, etc.). This interview was in March 2012 and has the latest research.
With all of these biotech and food additive attacks on our food supply, do you now see why I say Thrive Foods are healthier than the grocery store?
We vote on our health with our dollars. We can improve our health by engaging more, examining food supplies, eating healthy foods, limiting exposure to environmental toxins and maximizing our vitamin and nutrient intake.
